The house was built in 1948 and is one of the distinctive homes on Cathedral Canyon Rd in the historic lower Cove. It was characteristically built with 12 inch thick adobe walls, vaulted ceilings, and clay Spanish roof tiles. Although the kitchen and bathrooms have been updated, the house retains its unique Southwest American style inside and out. The gardens are meticulously planted with desert plants and complements the distinguished style of the building and landscape.
Adobe House is one of the oldest structures in the entire city, sitting on the corner of San Jacinto Road and Cathedral Canyon, the city's Historic District. The home has been recently purchased, preserved, and renovated.
